JonDo Mixed Poultry Grit combines two essential types of grit:

Insoluble Hard Grit: Comprising flint particles, this component aids in the mechanical digestion of food within the gizzard, functioning similarly to teeth.

Soluble Calcium Grit: Made from oyster shells, seashells, and limestone, this element dissolves in the bird’s system, providing necessary calcium for strong eggshell formation and overall bone health.
The grit is graded between 4–7mm, making it suitable for adult poultry. It’s particularly beneficial for birds that are not free-ranging and thus lack natural access to grit.
